Dr. Shalom is an accomplished dermatologist with extensive experience in both clinical practice and academic research. He holds a BSc and MD from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where he graduated with honors. With board certification in dermatology and a specialty in advanced dermatologic technologies, Dr. Shalom has made significant contributions to the fields of teledermatology and dermatologic research. He currently serves as the Director of the National Teledermatology Service for Clalit Health Services in Israel and is recognized for his work on the epidemiology of chronic skin conditions, including psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa. His research has been published in leading medical journals, making him a key figure in the dermatology community.
